On Saturday, the Stipe Sikirica exhibition - between private and public - is officially opened
On the occasion of the 85th anniversary of Stipe Sikirica, Stipe Sikirica's exhibition - between private and public - was opened.
In the Sikirica Gallery on Saturday, May 19th, Stipe Sikirica's exhibition - between private and public - was opened. The exhibition opens a new perspective for the interpretation and understanding of the artistic poetry of Stipe Sikirica, who gave his spiritual and artistic heritage to the people of Cetinski kraj. The exhibition is conceived as an intimate story of growing up in the small village of Jabuci, going to school in Zagreb, traveling around the world, the tireless artistic and pedagogic work that Sikirica has devoted entirely to. The material from a personal artist's and family's archive (written by Stip's younger brother, Marijan Sikirica) leads visitors through the intimate story of growing up in Jabuca, going to Zagreb, traveling around the world, and art that celebrates the Cetinje heritage permanently.
The exhibition will remain open until July 20th.
