Inspired by the performance of Schubert's Sonata in B major op. Posthum, D 960 world-famous pianist Mrs. Ida Gamulin opened the music program last night at the Sikirica Gallery in front of a public audience that has come to enjoy a great event in large numbers. After the fall of Gamulin, his performance was equally delighted by the soprano Nina Kobler and Božo Župić (bass) and Marija Župić with sophisticated performances on the clarinet. The program was Cavatina in the e-mol op. 39 no. 3 Francesca de Palffya and Romanca Zrinski Ivana pl. Zajc and the same author of the Homeland and love.
The audience joined the performers in the finale by singing the Rajska Djevo kraljice Hrvata.
The specialty of this concert is that this is also the official promotion of the concert piano of Steinway & sons, which was donated to the City of Sin by KD Lisinski and the City of Zagreb.
Ida Gamulin, is the leading name of middle-class Croatian pianism. Born in Split, Croatian-Austrian origin, in spite of the strong preference for natural sciences, was accustomed to music and graduated from the Zagreb Academy of Music in the class of prof. Jurice Murai. He continued his career at Weimar at Rudolf Kehrer and in London at Alfred Brendel, Annie Fischer, John Lille, and Stephen Kovacevich. In addition to a number of awards at home competitions, Svetislav StanÄić, Milka Trnina and the Special Prize at the Freiburg Awards were also awarded.
